Ally & Antony — a wedding at Masseria Montalbano
From the United States to the heart of Puglia, to say “I do” at Masseria Montalbano. An afternoon wedding under an uncertain sky, and a masseria ready for anything: its many different spaces and an always helpful staff turned the clouds into a detail.
It was a real pleasure to tell your story, Ally and Antony. Thank you for coming all this way and for choosing us.
Getting ready and the first look
The morning passed in the light of the white rooms: the robe, the hair, the hugs. Then, before anything else, a first look just for the two of them under the bougainvillea: Antony turning around, the laughter, the first kiss of the day.
A ceremony on the bougainvillea avenue
With the weather uncertain, the masseria had the right solution: the ceremony moved to the bougainvillea avenue, among pink drapes and hanging flowers. The vows, the guests in tears, and the walk out as husband and wife among the petals.
A walk through the olive grove
While the guests enjoyed a spritz in the courtyard, we took some time with Ally and Antony: a walk among the ancient olive trees and through the most beautiful corners of the masseria, its dry-stone walls, white rooftops and little chapel.
The party and the pizzica
In the evening, tables under the string lights, live music and toasts. And once the party started there was no stopping them: euphoric dancing, pizzica salentina in a circle of friends, and the cake cut in the garden among sparkling fountains.
