Erica and Ged chose Castello Monaci to celebrate with friends and family who travelled across the world to be there — a journey wrapped in vineyards, olive trees, golden sunsets and music under the Italian sky. A wedding that became a bridge between two worlds, an ode to the timeless beauty of Southern Italy.
A pre-wedding overlooking the sea
Before the wedding day itself, Erica and Ged took a moment on the coast: walks on the pale stone at sunset, silhouettes against the sea, an embrace with golden light behind them. A way to slow down, before the day filled with people and emotion began in earnest.
Getting ready, among details and family
Erica's portraits — beneath a chandelier in one of the historic rooms, on the grand stone staircase, among the sculptural sleeves of her gown — alternated with moments spent with family gathered in the garden, while Ged waited with his groomsmen for the ceremony to begin.
A ceremony, and a party that brought two cultures together
The ceremony took place under a white arch at the heart of the masseria, amid guests raising their glasses and the pale stone of Castello Monaci lit up by the evening. Among the most striking moments of the celebration was a live musical performance that brought an almost meditative, ritual touch to the night, before the dance floor lit up in earnest: an impressive light show carried the dancing late into the night, alongside champagne fountains and a party that blended Apulian elegance with the energy of a celebration that had travelled a long way to get there.
